Site work for a mixed-use development in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are requested for the Parking Lot and Drainage Improvements project at Smith Reynolds Airport. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required and must be submitted in a separately sealed envelope labelled as "Bid Bond" and attached to the bid. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required at contract execution. No bid may be withdrawn for 90 calendar days after bid receipt. Written questions from bidders are accepted up to May 11, 2026, 5:00 pm EST, and only questions answered by formal written Addenda are binding. Attendance at a pre-bid conference at the project site is mandatory for prospective bidders. Bidding documents are available from AVCON, Inc. The project has a goal of 10% MBE/WBE participation by value. Liquidated damages of $1,500 per day apply for exceeding the contract time. Maximum construction time is 120 consecutive calendar days.
