Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kent, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Kent is requesting statement of qualifications for transportation planning and pre-engineering services to support the Benson Corridor 20-Minute Neighborhood Plan. The project will augment the 2044 Comprehensive Plan by assessing existing conditions and recommending and developing projects to make the corridor a more resilient one. The City of Kent (City) solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Transportation Planning and Pre-Engineering Services. This agreement will be for approximately 29 months in duration, starting in July 2026 and ending in December 2028, with the option for the City to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. Consultants will be considered for the following project: Benson Corridor 20-Minute Neighborhood Plan. The City reserves the right to amend terms of this "Request for Qualifications" (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
