Addition to a mixed-use development in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the addition of a fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
The project is for the expansion of the MSCR West Building at 7341 W Towne Way, Madison, WI 53719. The scope of work includes the development of a new natatorium building featuring a swimming pool, a full-size gymnasium, locker rooms, restroom facilities, and administrative office space. Bidders are instructed to attend a mandatory pre-bid jobsite walk-through at the site. Bids must be submitted to the Madison Metropolitan School District-Building Services Department by the specified deadline. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. May 8, 2026 - 2:00 PM (CST) Contractor Questions Due In general, the Project consists of expansion of the MSCR West facility into an adjacent space to support growing recreation and aquatics programming for the community per Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents.The project will include the development of a new natatorium featuring a swimming pool, a full-size gymnasium, locker rooms and restroom facilities, and administrative office space. The expansion will create additional program space to accommodate a wide range of recreational and community activities and will integrate with the existing MSCR West facility. In addition to the building expansion, the project will include associated site improvements, including parking lot lighting upgrades and parking lot resurfacing and restriping.
