The scope includes: (Project 1) Remodeling three existing spaces to relocate the Occupational Therapy department and other services; (Project 2) A detailed frame joint evaluation of steel moment-resisting frames at the South Wing and Emergency Department; (Project 3) A potential second phase of frame joint evaluation; (Project 4) Exposing and extracting structural building materials for testing in the Stephens and West Wings; (Project 5) A potential second phase of materials testing; (Project 6) Bracing and anchorage of pipes, ducts, and equipment to comply with NPC 4 requirements; (Project 7) Conversion of a space on the second floor of the South Wing into a 9,000-square-foot skilled nursing unit, involving demolition and new construction; (Project 8) Utility upgrades including new fuel, water, and wastewater tanks and associated site improvements; (Project 9) Structural upgrades to the Stephens and West Wings, including new shear walls, footing expansions, and column reinforcement.
