Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work generally consists of the replacement of approximately 300 m of 150 mm diameter watermain and 200 mm diameter sanitary sewer, from the intersection of Fifth and Sixth Streets to Maple Avenue. The work also includes the re-paving of Sixth Street together with partial concrete curb and sidewalk reinstatement; along with the paving of Fifth Street, from Main Street to Sixth Street (approximately 0.070 km). Each tender must be accompanied by a Tender Deposit in the form of a Certified Cheque or a Bid Bond made payable to the Town of Smooth Rock Falls. A 100% Contract Bond, or acceptable security, will be required by the successful tenderer. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Tenders clearly marked as to contents will be received by the CAO / Treasurer until 2:00 p.m., local time on the closing date. Documents can be obtained from https://www.biddingo.com/ The Contract Documents (Specifications and Contract Drawings) will be available for viewing at the Smooth Rock Falls Town Hall and the office of Shaba Testing Ltd. during normal business hours, commencing on: __April 22, 2026_.
