Description

Site work and new construction of a power facility in Monticello, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.

Sullivan County is requesting proposals from companies to explore a partnership with a commercial firm for the development of a Waste to Energy (WTE) facility as a component of their long-term sustainability initiative. This new facility will be located within Sullivan County for the purpose of establishing local responsibility for in-county management of waste generated within the county. The selection of a company through this RFP process will be based on an evaluation of numerous factors and contract negotiations, and will not be solely based on price or potential revenues to the County.
