The City of Eldon is accepting sealed bids for the removal and replacement of fencing at the Eldon Cemetery, located along 128 County Road CC-2 (Eldon Road), Eldon, Missouri. Project Summary o Total Fence Length: 1,668 linear feet o Installation of new sucker rod fence including posts, rods, and gates Materials o 2-7/8" Posts: o 8' Posts: 209 o 9' Gate Posts: 4 o Black plastic caps required on all posts o 7/8" Sucker Rods: o Total: 6,672 feet (25' sections) Scope of Work o Remove and properly dispose of existing fence o Install new sucker rod fence and all components o Sand and paint entire fence black o Complete all work in a professional manner Gates o Four (4) 8-foot-wide gates o 48" height to match fence o Must match existing front cemetery gates o Painted black to match fence Contractor Requirements o Verify all measurements and site conditions o Provide proof of liability insurance o Hold a valid City of Eldon business license o Maintain clean and safe worksite; remove all debris Work requested is to take down existing fence and replace it with one exactly like it, in it's place.
