The work includes, but is not limited to, fire panel upgrades at Newmarket Health Centre and Armitage Gardens, 194 and 200 Eagle Street, Newmarket, Ontario, as further described in Appendix C - Form of Contract. Only electronic bid submissions will be accepted, submitted through the Region's Bids and Tenders website. Hard copy bid submissions will not be accepted. Bids must be received by the Region no later than 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. All bids must be accompanied by a digital bid bond of not less than 10% of the subtotal contract amount. Bidders are also required to submit a digital undertaking to bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region. Any bids from respondents who do not meet the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) certification requirements, as stated in Appendix A, will be rejected from consideration.
