Reference Number 0000421869 Furnish and Insta;; Gate Valve, Swing Check Valve, and Other Appurtenances Including All Necessary Piping and Other Materials Needed for Complete Installation of All Proposed Work Work shall include but not limited to: > Remove 12" diameter gate valve inside the building and install a new 12" diameter gate valve outside of the building. This includes new valve box assembly and lid to be installed level with finished grade. > Remove and replace 12" diameter swing check valve inside the building at approximately the same location. > Replace and provide all new ductile iron pipes, flanges, etc. as needed for the new valves. > Repair penetrations associated with the new 12" ductile iron pipe extension from inside the building to the exterior. > Remove and replace with a new 2" combo air release valve at the same location. Adapt to existing piping as needed. > For placement of the gate valve outside the building, excavate the area as needed and once the gate valve is installed, backfill as noted in specifications. All excess material shall be placed on site as directed by the town. > Complete all remaining work and provide testing as needed to confirm the valves and all other appurtenances are working properly. This includes topsoil and seeding of the disturbed ground. > Replace 10" flange seal in wellhouse number 1.
