Description

Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in Central Islip, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.

The project involves the removal and replacement of the roofs atop the District Court and Office Tower. The demolition work includes the removal of the existing ballasted roofing systems down to the existing deck, concrete and aluminum coping caps, pavers, and caulking joints. The new work includes the installation of a new TPO roofing system with tapered insulation, new perimeter metals, new flashing, and new caulking. Question Deadline 05/14/2026 No oral interpretation of the Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents will be given to any bidder. Every request for such interpretation shall be addressed in writing to the Commissioner of Public Works and must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date set for the opening of the bids.
