The Cooper County Commission is requesting proposals for the purchase of and installation of a 180- foot, self-supporting communication tower at 8151 Highway 135, Pilot Grove, MO 65276.This proposal shall also include the decommissioning and removal of a 120-foot tower from the site. The tower shall be engineered to withstand a wind of 120 mph with a loading of Six (6) Dipole Omni Base Station Antennas with Feedlines 7/8" Low-Loss Foam Coaxial Cable and associated mounting brackets and hardware from the VHF antennas and up to six (6), four-foot diameter Microwave dishes and associated coax, mounting brackets and hardware. The tower shall be equipped with a coax wave guide for coax attachments, climbing ladder with safety cable, and ice bridge from tower to shelter or cabinet. The RFP shall include all cost associated with the construction to include but not limited to: ground preparation, grounding to Motorola R56 Standards, engineering cost and drawings, and erection of the tower. It should include the installation of three VHF 6db 4-bay Dipole Omni Base Station Antennas and one 2' Microwave antenna at 120', one 3' microwave antenna at 95' and one 2' microwave antenna at 100', fencing around the site, , and all other cost associated with the project. The bid shall include the decommission of the existing 120ft self-supporting tower. This will include the removal of three (3) VHF Dipole Omni Base Station antennas, coax, mounting brackets and hardware from the old tower (antennas to be moved to new tower), disassemble and removal of the old tower. The three (3) Dipole Omni Base Station antennas and any usable hardware shall be installed on the new tower.
