The Upper Canada District School Board invites tenders, from pre-qualified eligible bidders, for RAAC REPLACEMENT & ACCESSIBILITY UPGRADES including; - Replace RAAC in roofs K, L, M, Q and P with galvanized steel deck. - Structural enhancements to support new roof deck. - Remove and replace aged electrical and mechanical systems that are connected including Auto and Wood Shop ventilation and dust collection systems. - New 2-ply modified bitumen roofing. - New Building Automation System sized for future integration of full building. - Paint walls in wood shop, auto shop, Gym C and rooms affected by RAAC replacement. - Barrier free access at exterior stair and door between room 155 and 136. - New barrier free millwork in room 151. - New universal washroom in special education area. - New fire alarm system. Owner only provides plans and specs to their prequalified contractors. Interested sub trades, manufacturers and suppliers should contact the prequalified contractors.
