The intent of these Special Provisions, together with the General Provisions, the STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS and Plans are to provide for the replacement of Bridge No. 80 on CR 300 N over Black Creek located within Montgomery County, along with all incidental work including but not limited to end bents, roadway approach work, site grading, erosion control measures, and demolition of the existing structure(s), all as more particularly set out in the Plans. 125 W CR 300 N Crawfordville, IN 47933 The proposed construction consists of constructing a county-provided modular steel beam bridge (Montgomery County Bridge 80 on CR 300 N over Black Creek), end bents, guardrail, roadway approach work, site grading, and demolition of the existing structure according to the plans and specifications. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the proposal form furnished to bidders. A certified check, bank draft, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The contractor awarded the work will be required to furnish an acceptable Surety Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
