The Houston Independent School District is seeking proposals from qualified individuals and/or organizations for the procurement of carpet, wood, and other flooring services maintenance and repairs. Vendors must respond to the solicitation and submit all required information and documentation to be considered. The selection process will include evaluation of compliance with liability insurance requirements and the Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Program. One or more vendors may be recommended for contract award, with approved vendors granted a contract term from August 14, 2026 through August 13, 2027, with four automatic annual renewals not to extend beyond August 13, 2031. HISD may, at its discretion, extend the project for up to ninety days for business continuity purposes. Instructions to bidders include RSVPing for a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference, submitting all required proposal information through the electronic bidding portal, and directing any questions about the solicitation process, scope, or specifications in writing via the portal.
