Description

Site work for an educational facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

Sealed bids are requested for installing a new gas-fired back-up generator and associated lighting work at the WSU Tri-Cities Wine Science Center. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Project Scope: This project will install a new gas fired back-up generator to support critical loads in the building as well as the emergency lighting alternate. Circuits will be adjusted within rooms to be connected to the back-up generator service via existing automatic transfer switch (ATS), and the electrical modifications to alter the existing electrical lines to the critical load locations in the labs. The building lighting will be transferred to be completely supported by the back-up generator, with a new manual and automatic transfer switch being installed to support the emergency lighting. Bid Estimate: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 Alternate No. 1 - Generator Emergency Lighting Back-Up. Installation of the manual transfer switch from the generator to a new ATS, and then electrical modifications inside of the building to reconfigure the lighting circuits to be on the back-up generator. Should bidders find discrepancies in, omissions from, or unclear information within the Contract Documents, they should notify Owner at once. Questions received less than 7 Days before bid opening may not be answered. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
