The opportunity is for qualified subcontractors and/or suppliers to provide Confined Space Safety Services for structural inspections in NYSDOT Regions 3, 4, 5, and 6. The subcontractor is required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment for on-call confined space safety services for bridge and large culvert inspections throughout all counties of the listed NYSDOT regions. The work must be performed in accordance with Federal and State regulations, NYSDOT standards, and project specifications. The subcontractor must have a minimum of three years documented experience in similar services. The majority of work will be completed from March through December each year, with limited work expected in the winter months. Weekend services may be required. All provisions of the prime contract will apply to the subcontract. Insurance requirements include policies for bodily injury liability, property damage liability, automobile and truck insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. The subcontractor is responsible for procuring necessary permits except for certain permits that may be secured by the prime contractor. Proposals must be prepared in conformance with the Bid Documents and delivered in a sealed envelope labeled "Proposal for Special Access" and with the bidder's name. Proposals received after the stated deadline will not be opened. Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, request new proposals, and disregard nonconforming or conditional bids.
