West Georgia Regional Airport Terminal Apron Expansion The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for the Terminal Apron Expansion at the West Georgia Regional Airport, Carrollton, Georgia. All work under the contract shall be completed within one hundred-twenty (120) calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages for delays in completion will be fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00) per calendar day. Payment will be made monthly on completed work, with retainage held to a maximum of ten percent (10%) of each progress payment. Only prequalified bidders and subcontractors with the Georgia Department of Transportation will be considered. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check amounting to five percent (5%) of the total proposal. A one-hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one-hundred percent (100%) payment bond are required at contract execution. Affirmative action, Buy American, and other federal requirements apply. Prospective bidders should fill out all bid forms in ink, showing prices clearly in numerals and words. All contractors must be on the plan holders list to be considered for work. Documents are available for a non-refundable fee. The successful bidder must provide affidavits per OCGA 36-91-21 (e). Other instructions include compliance with federal work authorization programs and non-discrimination requirements. The sponsor reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Question Deadline 05/19/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Requests for interpretations of drawings and specifications must be made in writing to the Engineers not later than five (5) days (weekends and holidays not included) prior to receipt of Proposals.
