Site work and paving for a road / highway in Anchorage, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Anchorage is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 Road Paving Project. Sealed bids must be clearly marked "2026 Road Paving Project." The city reserves the right to accept or reject any bid based on past performance, to waive technicalities and informalities, and to re-advertise. General Scope of Work: Contractor must allow for positive drainage. Low areas will be wedged. Cut edge keys on all driveways and tie-ins. Mill and broom clean existing pavement to a depth of 1 1/2 inches. Haul millings off site. Prime with tack. Pave with 1 1/2 inches compacted asphalt surface. Work must comply with industry best practices and be guaranteed for a period of 1 year from completion date. All striping removed must be replaced with like kind (i.e. thermoplastic stop bars and speed humps/ striping 4-inch permanent paint). Provide Traffic Control as needed. 1. Beech Rd. and Old Harrods Creek Rd. - Approx 120 LF Intersection. Re-Stripe and Replace 2 Crosswalks, 2 Stop Bars. 2. Beech Road- Approx.500 LF From Speed Hump at Towner Place Entrance to Bellewood Road. Re-do and Replace Speed Hump with Stripes and Stop Bar. 3. Bellewood Rd. Bridge Area- Approx. 250 LF Owl Creek Ln. to Owl Creek Ln. from Speed Hump to marking at the next intersection. 4. Owl Creek Ln./ Bellewood Rd.- Approx. 150 LF Near intersection, from seam to Gazebo 5. Station Road - Approx. 1200 LF The Y Intersection from the Anchor to the seam break after USPS Office toward Bellewood Rd./ Park Rd. Will need to be re-striped, Remark Parking Spaces, 4 stop bars and 2 crosswalks (Piano Key Pattern w/ outside frame- Thermo). 6. Anchorage City Hall and Public Works Parking Lots 1306 Evergreen Road- Mill and Pave according to scope. Overlay will be allowed in certain areas to increase strength. Ensure positive drainage. Replace all striping removed. Parking lot stop bars will be removed for project and replaced upon completion. 7. Log Cabin Road- Approx. 245 LF From Glenbrook Intersection up to 15 MPH Sign turning into Surrey Lane. Build up side to keep from breaking. South Side: 2-foot widening with 8-inch DGA Stone Base, 3-inch Base Course, 1.5-inch Compacted Surface. Paved surface will add 1-foot to existing road. 8. Osage Rd. East- Approx. 245 LF From the utility pole at top of the hill to speed bump. Re-do and Replace Speed Hump with Stripes and Stop Bar. 9. Osage Rd. East - Approx. 165 LF Edge Repair. Inside bend of curve near Forest School Rd. North Side: 2-foot widening with 8-inch DGA Stone Base, 3-inch Base Course, 1.5-inch Compacted Surface. Paved surface will add 1-foot to existing road. 10. Mistletoe Rd. - Approx. 1000 LF and Holly Court- Approx. 250 LF 2-foot widening of varying sides with 8-inch DGA Stone Base, 3-inch Base Course, 1.5- inch Compacted Surface. Paved surface will add 1-foot to existing road. Cul-de-sac's do not need to be widened. 11. North Osage Rd. - Approx. 1545 LF From Lucas Ln. to Greten Ln. Replace Stop Bar at Stop Sign on Lucas Lane. Beginning North of the bridge: 2-foot widening of varying sides with 8-inch DGA Stone Base, 3- inch Base Course, 1.5-inch Compacted Surface. Paved surface will add 1-foot to existing road. 12. 12206 Lucas to Pump Station Approx. 65 LF South Side: Lane Repair. One half of the road only. 13. 12413 Lucas Lane to Little Hills Intersection- Approx. 190 LF Edge repair. Build up to keep from breaking. 2-foot widening with 8-inch DGA Stone Base, 3-inch Base Course, 1.5-inch Compacted Surface. Paved surface will add 1-foot to existing road.
