Remodeling of a laboratory facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a laboratory facility.
The contractor shall provide materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and inspection necessary to accomplish the scope of work as described in the contract drawings and specifications. The scope includes selective demolition in TAL 550 Room 109, such as removal or modifications to Process Hot and Cold Water piping, Compressed Air piping, demolition of an existing Supply Air Terminal Unit, demolition of selective exhaust diffusers and ductwork, and demolition of selective supply air ductwork. Electrical demolition includes removal of existing electrical receptacles, conduit and conductors, and removal of an existing data port. Build-back includes installation of a new sink and base cabinet, four new mobile cabinets, a new LABCONCO Protector XVS Ventilation Station, a wall-mounted safety shower, sink-mounted emergency eyewash, a BFCI industrial storage cabinet, and new GFCI receptacles, conduit, and conductors. The project also includes an add alternate for the removal and replacement of existing overhead recessed lighting with new LED lights, emergency lights, and occupancy sensors.
