NBU shall have a reasonable amount of time to respond to questions or concerns regarding the RFP SCOPE OF WORK NBU anticipates the following items will be included in the Project scope of work: The Project is anticipated to include some or all of the following items within its scope: Construction of (i) new 7.5 million gallon per day ("MGD") potable water pump station; (ii) incoming potable water supply line and flow control valve station; (iii) 2.5 million gallon pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank; (iv) booster pump building with horizontal split case pumps; (v) concrete masonry unit ("CMU") control building; (vi) electrical, instrumentation, controls, SCADA system; (vii) motor control center and variable frequency drives; (viii) diesel generator; (ix) perimeter fencing and site security; (x) site improvements; and (xi) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. The Project will be designed and constructed so as to meet all applicable federal, state, and local accessibility standards. The selected Offeror will be also responsible for obtaining all applicable permits and inspections; providing all necessary performance and payment bonds and insurance requirements; and providing NBU with all manufacturers' warranties and all operations and maintenance (O & M) manuals for all equipment installed. The selected Offeror may be required to perform some or all of the following preconstruction and construction services. Preconstruction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, planning and value engineering the Work.
