Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Project includes the removal of obsolete equipment and installation of new dimming and control systems, as well as all necessary configuration and testing to ensure full operational functionality. WAMS seeks to replace its obsolete incandescent lighting system and failing dimming/architectural controls with a modern, energy-efficient LED system. Please note the following for the Project: o Existing dimmer rack is failing and unsupported; o The Architectural control system is not functioning; o Need for modern instructional and performance capabilities; o Alignment with energy efficiency and sustainability goals; and o The awarded vendor shall provide a turnkey solution. The selected Theatrical Equipment Contractor (the "TEC") shall provide the following: o Equipment procurement; o System design validation; o Installation and integration; o Electrical coordination (licensed contractor required); o Programming and commissioning; o Training for staff and students; and o Documentation and warranty. All questions and communication about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received by 2:00 PM on May 12, 2026
