Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Kingston, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Replacement of approximately 510m of 48" wide sidewalk with 60" sidewalk. Remove and replace approximately 510 meters of existing asphalt sidewalk. Replace 48 inch wide sidewalk with new 60 inch wide asphalt sidewalk totaling approximately 795 square metres. Replace two driveway aprons. Install cast iron tactile walking surface indicators in concrete at both sides of Magee and Sparky crosswalks. Remove existing asphalt sidewalk, base and sod. Supply and place minimum 100 millimetres new Type 1 base gravel. Place new hot mix asphalt sidewalk and aprons at 65 millimetres compacted thickness. Restore boulevards. Provide traffic control as required. Optional pricing accepted for concrete sidewalk alternative.
