Description

Beaufort County is seeking proposals for the demolition and removal of the train trestle fishing pier at the Wimbee Creek Boat Landing. This includes the removal of the concrete deck, wood and steel superstructure, and all pilings. The existing pier has been found to be in a deteriorated condition that is not safe for public use and must be properly disposed of in preparation for the construction of a new fishing pier. All questions must be submitted through the Procurement Portal no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
