Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston AFB, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of providing all plant, labor, material parts, and equipment necessary to replace standpipes and bases on the sewer lift station at building 509 on Joint Base Charleston Air Base, South Carolina. Project requirements include setting up to perform OSHA Permitted Confined Space Entry (CSE), plugging the manhole and installing a bypass pump while old equipment is being removed, pulling pump #1 and performing CSE to remove #1 guiderails, standpipe, and base, setting a new base and standpipe and reinstalling existing guide rails using new guide rail brackets, repeating the process for the other three standpipes, and testing all components for functionality to ensure normal operations. Bidders are instructed to see all attachments for full details. Offerors may submit questions relating to this acquisition to the following individual: carmen.kuhl@us.af.mil. Questions must be submitted no later than (NLT) 6 May 2026, 2:00 PM EST.
