The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and incidental services necessary to repair and recoat floors and walls with chemical resistant epoxy within the Chemical Transfer Facility sump area, secondary holding tank area, and select laboratories and storage rooms. The work is intended to ensure proper containment and protection against hazardous or aggressive chemicals in the event of a system leak. Services shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, during normal business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. All work shall be inspected for compliance with performance requirements by the Contracting Officer's Representative. The requirement is for commercial services under NAICS 238190 and will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation, with technical acceptability determined by the contractor's technical approach and recent experience performing chemical resistant epoxy floor and wall systems.
