Sealed bids from pre-qualified contractors are requested for the construction project involving removal of temporary bridges and the complete replacement of Bridges #13 & #17 on Red Village Road, along with associated roadway approach work and improvements to Hawkins Brook. Bidders must be pre-qualified under the "Contractors List of Bridge Construction Category" by the Agency of Transportation. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond for five percent of the total bid amount. Contractors must obtain plans from VHB by emailing the Project Manager. The project is governed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for Construction. All questions during the advertisement phase must be directed in writing to the VHB Project Manager.
