Demolition of existing facilities and construction of a new multifunctional engineering and mission support facility that will consolidate key operational functions into a modern, centralized workspace. Work includes demolition of the existing Motor Pool Facility (Building N251), Machine Shop (Building N216), associated fuel infrastructure, two existing motor pool fuel pumps, underground fuel tanks, environmental closure of the fuel tanks, and related site improvements. Construction includes a new approximately 30,292 gross square foot facility containing office space, technical laboratories, meeting and collaboration areas, and mission support functions. The project supports campus modernization efforts through improved operational efficiency, high-performance building design, and enhanced workplace functionality. The contract will be procured as a single firm-fixed-price design-build project utilizing a two-phase design-build selection process. Location: NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA 94035. This office anticipates award of a contract for these services in Q3 of 2027. Contract duration is estimated to be (2) years (24 months).
