Project includes the construction of the SH 99 Waterline, Phase 2. The project involves the construction of a twelve-inch waterline along and within TxDOT SH 99 ROW from Langston Blvd. to FM 565. The project includes connection to existing waterlines at Langston Blvd. and FM 565 as well as crossings of several pipelines and drainage facilities. Work of the Contract includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and superintendence necessary for the construction and installation of a 12-inch waterline and appurtenances as shown on the contract plans and specifications. This contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Approximately 8,500 linear feet of 12-inch waterline by open cut method, approximately 365 linear feet 12-inch water line by trenchless method in 20-inch steel casing and connect to existing waterlines at FM 565 and Langston Blvd. B. Construction and installation shall include all fittings, thrust blocking, restrained joints, tracer wire, testing, disinfection, excavation, connection to existing water lines, backfill, embedment, surface restoration, sediment control and other appurtenances as shown on the contract plans and specifications. C. Furnish and install fire hydrants as required including excavation, backfill, restrained joints, valves and fittings as shown on the contract plans and specifications. D. Furnish and install air release valves and manholes as required including excavation and backfill as shown on the contract plans and specifications.
