Renovation of a power facility in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The purpose of this project is to purchase a DC Substation overhead door. Please refer to the attached scope of work for minimum requirements. BONFIRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS DETAILS / BIDTABLE. To access details or the BidTable, initiate the 'Prepare Your Submission' process at the bottom of the page. All purchase orders are subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's Terms and Conditions, which are available for download in the supporting documentation section. All bids or quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with the freight cost included in the overall price. DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified may be grounds for rejection and default termination by Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority. DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices should be submitted in triplicate (one copy marked 'Original'), and must include purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Unless otherwise specified, payment will be made on partial deliveries accepted by the Authority. Invoices will be paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or order, whichever is later, unless other terms are agreed to in writing. The Contracting Officer may terminate the order, in whole or in part, for failure of the Seller to perform within specified time periods; in such cases, the Seller may be liable for damages, including excess costs of reprocuring similar supplies or services. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to replace the existing overhead door opener with new. Work replacement of components such as electrical controls, motor components, limit switches, wiring, pushbutton controls, or safety devices, as required for proper operation. 3. SCOPE OF WORK 1. The Contractor shall attend a site visit, if required, prior to submitting a cost proposal to verify existing conditions. 2. The Contractor shall diagnose the overhead door opener malfunction and identify required repairs. 3. The Contractor shall repair or replace defective components of the overhead door opener to restore full operational capability. 4. The Contractor shall verify proper operation of: o Overhead door opener o Door travel and limits o Push-button controls o Safety devices (including safety edge or photo eyes, if applicable) 5. The Contractor shall coordinate all work and site access with DART personnel through the DART Project Manager.
