Site work and new construction of a residential development in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,175-square-foot, one-story above grade, three-room residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

It will be the responsibility of the contractor to meet the requirements of the 2018 International Residential Code , International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International Energy Conservation Code and all other applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances that apply to the jurisdiction where the work is being performed. The contractor shall obtain all necessary permits and inspections required by all laws, regulations, or public authority having jurisdiction. The contractor shall pay all permit fees, tap fees, temporary utility connection charges, and other expenses in connection therewith this project. The contractor shall obtain certificates of all inspections and submit a copy of each to the project administrator before final payment is made. East Tennessee Housing Development Corporation encourages minority and female owned companies to apply. East Tennessee Housing Development Corporation hereby agrees, warrants, and assures that no person shall be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in the performance of this project or in the employment practices of the Grantee on the grounds of handicap or disability, age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other classification protected by Federal, Tennessee State constitutional, or statutory law. As of April 29, 2026, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Only licensed, and insured TN General contractors are eligible to bid on this project, all subcontractors must contact the winning general contractor after the award. East Tennessee Housing Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. Estimated value is $200,000 - $225,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
