Renovation of a multi-residential development in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 70,564-square-foot, 117-unit multi-residential development.

This project will refurbish 117 student apartments, totaling approximately 70,564 asf, at Weyburn Terrace Aloe Court. The project will update the wall, ceiling, and floor finishes in the apartment units. The units will receive new paint and all flooring will be replaced with vinyl plank. Only bidders who participate in both the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and the mandatory Job Walk, in their entirety, will be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors. Participants must log onto the ZOOM meeting for the Pre-Bid Conference at or before the scheduled time. Persons logging in or arriving late will not be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors. Bidding Documents can be viewed and downloaded at no cost at the UCLA Online Planroom website. Bids must be received at the specified location by the indicated deadline. Parking for the site walk may be difficult, and ample time should be allowed to arrive on time. To be allowed to submit a bid, Bidders must have the minimum experience set forth in the Prequalification Questionnaire contained in the Bidding Documents and posted on the UCLA Online Planroom website. Bidder's completed Prequalification Questionnaire must be received at the above-listed University Contracts Administration office in a sealed envelope, or uploaded to the UCLA Online Planroom website, no later than: 3:00 p.m., May 7, 2026 Pre-qualification requirements: - Bidders must have a current and active California B License (General Building) at the time of bid submission. - Bidders must have the minimum experience set forth in the Prequalification Questionnaire contained in the Bidding Documents and posted on the UCLA Online Planroom website. - The completed Prequalification Questionnaire must be received by the University Contracts Administration office in a sealed envelope or uploaded online by the specified deadline. - All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1. - The successful bidder must comply with equal employment opportunity policy, nondiscrimination requirements, and prevailing wage requirements. The project encourages participation from small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs). The work is a public work subject to California Labor Code section 1771, and compliance is monitored by the Department of Industrial Relations. The successful bidder shall pay all on-site workers no less than the UC Fair Wage and comply with all applicable working condition requirements.
