Bidders must comply with the Environmental Protection Agency's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, Department of Labor regulations regarding Affirmative Action, Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, and the American Iron and Steel requirements. The project is contingent upon the release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond of 5% of the maximum bid amount. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to assess existing conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for 90 days.
