Construction work is required to complete housing facility upgrades under the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). The project includes rehabilitation, repair, and improvement of existing Forest Service housing facilities to address deferred maintenance and improve habitability and functionality. Work may include structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and related construction activities as defined in the solicitation documents. The requirement is issued as a total small business set-aside, with the magnitude of construction disclosed as between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Two organized site visits are scheduled, and failure to inspect the site will not constitute grounds for a claim after award.
