The City of Holyoke, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Partial Roof Replacement and Accessibility Upgrades - Sullivan Middle School at Lt. Clayre Sullivan Middle School in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The project consists of but not limited to: Roof Replacement, Accessibility Upgrades, Fire Alarm System Upgrades City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Project consists of the alteration of the Lt Clayre Sullivan Middle School including the following major work. 1. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the drawings and specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following work: a. Partial Roof Replacement, including: 1) Replacement of roofing system down to roof decking. 2) Replacement of gutters and downspouts. 3) Replacement of roof drains. 4) Replacement of equipment curbs and equipment rails. b. Accessibility Modifications, including: 1) New gypsum board assembly partitions. 2) New toilet partions 3) New or relocated plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories. 4) New doors and/or door hardware. 5) New wall, floor and ceiling finishes, including ceramic tile and paint. 6) Concrete slab trenching and patching. 7) Modifications to existing fire alarm system. c. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing associated with above scope of work. d. Hazardous material abatement.
