Amendment 0001 provides clarification to vendors on whether the requirement represents a new contract opportunity or a continuation of previously existing services. The requirement is for asbestos inspection, testing, and abatement services over a five-year period consisting of a base year and four option years. Services must be performed by an accredited Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Inspector, who will conduct annual asbestos inspections, testing activities, and abatement duties in accordance with the Statement of Work. The procurement is issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services under FAR Part 12, with offers requested under a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The acquisition is set aside for small business concerns and incorporates applicable provisions and clauses by reference. Location: Spokane VA Medical Center, 4815 N Assembly St, Spokane, WA 99205, United States. Questions to this RFQ shall be submitted via electronic mail to the Contract Specialist Michael Borelli via email to Michael.borelli@va.gov. Questions shall be accepted until 06/17/2025 at 05:00 pm ET. The Government is not obligated to respond to any questions received after that date and time. All questions received within the designated timeframe that the Government considers relevant, will be answered. Responses to questions will be provided as amendment to the RFQ that will be made available to all potential Offerors. Telephonic inquiries are not acceptable and will not receive a response.
