Removal and replacement with a two-ply granular surfaced modified bitumen roof system for all roof areas for approximately 755 squares (SQS). All associated sheet metal components and accessories included. Complete removal and replacement of all exterior sealant joints, wet sealing all glass fenestrations, and maintenance/repairs to lintels, shelf angles, and exposed structural steel. Also included in the base bid is interim repairs to the horizontal portion of the copings using a PMMA coating system. Pre-qualification requirements: Submissions must include: a completed and signed Contractor’s Statement of Qualifications & Questionnaire; written statements from the contractor’s bonding agent and insurance company indicating ability to provide the contract-required amount; and any additional attachments required for a complete submittal. Grounds for denying prequalification include (but are not limited to): judgments for breach of contract within the past ten years; payment of liquidated damages for failure to complete a project on more than two occasions in the last five years; termination for cause or bond claims in the last five years; convictions related to construction crimes or unresolved building code violations in the past ten years; or debarment by any agency in the past ten years. The Agency may verify claims by visiting the contractor’s offices and reserves the right to deny prequalification at its discretion.
