Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Depew, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes replacement of pumps, motors, VFDs, check valves, valve actuators, instrumentation, PLC controls, piping, concrete modifications, wet well ventilation fans, conduits, wiring, emergency generator, and related construction. Possible alternate work includes equipment removal or replacement of the ATS, lighting, load bank, or flow meter. The Project includes general/ mechanical, HVAC, and electrical construction work necessary to upgrade and modernize the facility while maintaining coordination with ongoing operations. General work includes replacement of two pumps, motors, five variable frequency drives, five check valves, valve actuator, instrumentation, PLC controls with new programming and HMI, and associated piping and concrete modifications. HVAC improvements include replacement of wet well ventilation fans. Electrical work includes new conduit and wiring for pump motors, VFDs, PLC controls, instrumentation, HVAC and auxiliary systems, as well as replacement of the existing emergency generator and related generator exhaust, fuel, and ventilation components. Potential replacements of ancillary systems such as emergency power automatic transfer switch, lighting, and load bank. Questions are to be received by no later than 5 days prior to the Bid Opening as per QA 1, Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing to Connor Bannochie at Connor.Bannochie@ghd.com.
