The City of Claremont is accepting proposals for a crack sealing project for the year 2026. The contractor will be responsible for all traffic control. Work is expected to begin as soon as the contract is awarded and weather allows, and must be completed by June 30th, 2026. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The Contractor will be responsible for all traffic control measures and coordinate all traffic detail assignments which will be billed to the Contractor directly based on the hourly cost. The Contractor will be reimbursed on a separated line on invoice in one lump sum on each individual invoice. The Contractor will not be reimbursed for any police detail expenses incurred due to failure to cancel or cancelling without the required notice. 2. The unit of measure will be determined by the awarding authority and set forth in the proposal documents. Payment shall be at the unit price bid in the proposal and shall be full compensation for furnishing, preparing, placing the material specified and furnishing of all labor, equipment and incidentals for the satisfactory completion of this item. The unit of measure may be any of the following: a. Gallon b. Pound c. Linear Foot d. Square Yard e. Day f. Lump Sum
