This project involves roadway and interchange modifications along State Road (S.R.) 9 / I-95 at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in Palm Beach County, Florida. The scope includes milling and resurfacing existing asphalt pavement, widening Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard to add auxiliary lanes, widening I-95 off-ramps to provide additional turn lanes, addressing drainage impacts from widening, replacing lighting and signal mast arms, upgrading span wire assemblies to mast arms, improving pedestrian curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces, retrofitting lighting with LED luminaires, installing new overhead signing and pavement markings, and adding Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) improvements including two new Advanced Dynamic Message Signs (ADMS). Work will be phased to minimize impacts, with temporary lane closures during non-peak hours while maintaining pedestrian and vehicular access.
