Project consists of approximately 188 LF of pier extension from end of the exiting pier ending in an 80 LF T-section, including pilings, bracing, headers, stringers, and decking all with stainless steel fasteners/hardware, railing, lighting with the necessary electrical connections. The project site is located in Matagorda Bay, at King Fisher Beach in Port O’Connor, Texas. Question Deadline 05/22/2026 at 5:00 PM CT All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor and for the duration of the project. Calhoun County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award to the responsible bidder submitting the best qualified acceptable bid who, in the opinion of Calhoun County, offers the bid in the best interest of the County. Bids may be held by Calhoun County for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
