Renovation of a medical facility in Calgary, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Alberta Kidney Care (AKC) at the Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre (RRDTC) in Calgary. This project intends to construct a new 25-station outpatient unit to replace the existing 18-station unit at the NWDC. The renovated space is adjacent to an active Diagnostic Imaging (DI) unit that will need to be relocated and must remain operational throughout the construction; therefore, phased construction is required. Additionally, hazardous material abatement will be required in the areas designated for renovation. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for Prime Consultant Services has been awarded. Construction is planned for May 2027 - March 2029. Further update may be available fall/late 2026.
