Site work and new construction of a military facility in Alexandria, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a military facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the 199th BSB BAS at 5500 Coliseum Blvd, Alexandria, LA. Bids will be accepted only from contractors who attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit at the specified location. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any additional bid items, provided as a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. Bids will only be accepted from contractors licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Electrical and/or Mechanical and who comply with LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond from a company licensed in Louisiana, equal to 100% of the contract amount, including additional bid items if required. Bids cannot be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt except as provided by LA R.S. 38:2214. Electronic bids may be submitted through https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/, and hard copies of electronically submitted packets must be sent to the Construction & Facility Maintenance Office. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required to submit a bid. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for just cause and will not waive stated requirements. Participation in the Hudson Initiative and Veteran Initiative programs is encouraged.
