The Town of Oulu is requesting sealed bids for a minimum of 1,500 yards of grade 2, ¾ inch gravel, priced by the cubic yard, including delivery and spreading on town roads. Gravel is to be spread only when ordered by town officials. The material must meet "Base Aggregate Dense" per WDOT specification 305.23.2.1. A current valid test and the type of material offered must accompany bids. The Town may conduct random tests. A Certificate of Insurance is required. Bids must include provisions for residents to purchase gravel at the contract price. Instructions to bidders: All bids must be mailed in a sealed envelope marked "Gravel Bid." Bids must include the required materials and documentation. The Town of Oulu reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
