Sealed itemized bids are requested for the reconstruction of a portion of Lindow Road, beginning at Bennett Rd. and extending south to the end of the road, an approximate distance of 3274 feet. The project involves: 1. Clearing the right-of-way of stumps and debris to a width of 3 rods. 2. Ditching and sloping the right-of-way. 3. Culvert replacement. 4. Widening the roadway to 24 feet, consisting of a 20-foot travel surface with 2-foot shoulders on both sides, and a 3:1 slope to the road base, with breaker run material on the shoulders at a minimum depth of 8 inches. 5. Laying 4 inches of crushed gravel base 23 feet wide. Breaker run must meet Wisconsin DOT 2025 Standard Specifications. Contractors are required to control construction erosion and sedimentation and comply with Wisconsin DNR best management practices and Trans GP permit. Successful bidders and subcontractors must provide certificates of liability and worker's compensation insurance. A Performance Bond is required. Contractors are responsible for any prevailing wage rates as determined by the project scope, and must obtain the appropriate documents from the Department of Workforce Development before starting work. The required completion date for the project is November 1, 2026. Bidders must submit sealed, itemized bids labeled for the "Lindow Road TRIP Project" by the specified deadline. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part(s), and waive any information in the bidding process as deemed advantageous.
