Renovation of a stadium in Mississauga, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Phased renovations to the existing facility. Scope of work to include: partial flat roof replacement; construction of a doghouse to protect the heat recovery unit ducting; cleaning and repainting of 18 concrete piers at the building base; exterior wood soffit reseal and repair; replacement of damaged interior concrete flooring; accessibility improvements; mechanical systems upgrades; and electrical systems upgrades. TIMELINE: Contract for architectural services to complete design has been awarded. Design is underway. Working drawings are expected to be completed by December, 2026. Tender package for r Mechanical Equipment is anticipated in early-/mid-fall, 2026. Other packages will be tendered in winter, 2026/2027. Work related to ice rink arena must be completed by September 3, 2027.
