Establish contracts with qualified Contractors for the execution of railway track programs across VIA’s subdivisions, maintenance centers and a selection of VIA stations. This applies exclusively to programmed railway track rehabilitation works and expressly excludes new railway construction projects. VIA intends to award contracts on a regional rail territory basis, identifying one preferred supplier per territory, with one or two additional suppliers as alternatives, as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to review all tender documents thoroughly and may submit questions in accordance with the instructions set out.
