Site work for a development in Hermantown, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The project includes a Base Bid for approximately 850 feet of stream channel restoration on Keene Creek, including channel excavation and re-alignment, temporary stream diversion, wood and rock structure installation, excavation of specific habitat features, floodplain grading, and revegetation. An Alternate Bid includes installation of a floodplain culvert under Okerstrom Road to add capacity to the existing box culvert at the upstream end of the project. The project site is located in the City of Hermantown along Okerstrom Road between Hermantown Road and Morris Thomas Road (CSAH 56), with the southern limit approximately 600 LF north of the Morris Thomas Road intersection extending north to the box culvert crossing under Okerstrom Road. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a Unit Price basis. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Prevailing Wages apply. The provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor apply to all bidders. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid is required. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after bid opening without written consent. The Funding Agency reserves the right to delay award until all required state and federal permits are obtained.
