Please see the attached documents for project information and upload instructions. Questions about any aspect of the RFQ or the project should be submitted in writing to the contact listed above. The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit, applied research division of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Founded in 1934 as the Engineering Experiment Station, GTRI has grown to more than 2,400 employees supporting eight laboratories in over 20 locations around the country. It performs more than $500 million of problem-solving research annually for government and industry. Georgia Tech and GTRI combine the best of both applied and basic research to solve the innovation equation on behalf of clients. This combination provides unsurpassed expertise, technical solutions, and new levels of capability for our armed forces, our federal and state sponsors, our industry partners, and those with whom we collaborate worldwide. GTRI is primarily located within three (3) major hubs around Atlanta. Within these facilities, GTRI has space that has been approved by the US Government as meeting the requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) and Closed Facility. This type of space is critical for GTRIs ability to meet the program requirements of our sponsors and government contracts. The 430 South Building is an existing three stories brick building with a penthouse. The project will be a comprehensive renovation of approximately 27,000 SF encompassing the plan east portion of Level G, all of Level 1, all of Level 2, all of the Penthouse, and the roof.
