In Quebec, regulations require that backflow prevention devices (BPDs) be inspected and tested annually. This mandate therefore involves testing and ensuring the compliance of the devices, as well as maintaining and repairing them as necessary. The list of backflow prevention devices is provided in the appendix. The CSSP therefore wishes to engage the services of a qualified company to carry out inspection and preventive maintenance work (fixed-price component) as well as repairs (on-demand component) on the backflow prevention devices in its administrative units. The service provider shall carry out the following services at all administrative units of the School Service Centre: a) Inspection, preventive maintenance (fixed-price) b) Service calls and repairs (on-demand) The required services shall be carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer and representatives of the CSSP.
