A virtual site visit is scheduled. Tenders must be accompanied by a signed tender bond, which must be equivalent to ten per cent (10%) of the tender amount, in the form of a certified cheque, a promissory note, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a surety bond. The tender bond must be issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q., c. A-32) authorizing it to carry on surety insurance business, or a trust company holding a licence issued under the Trust and Savings Companies Act (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46).
